C4 Activity – Intranet and extranet-technologies used in transdisciplinary approaches of the Curriculum at the school decision – 14/06/2021  to 18/06/2021  –  Virtual mobilityEscola Profissional de Ciências Geográficas, Lisboa, Portugal

Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we had a virtual mobility. It was challenging and we achieved excellent results!

Before carrying out the activity, the four partners designed in several online meetings the learning unit “Assessment of the quality of environmental factors based on biological indicators”. The learning unit was designed to allow transdisciplinary approaches, integrating knowledge from informatics, biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and environmental protection, as well as approaches to digital pedagogy and other information technology. Also, the students participating in the project, prior to the mobility, were prepared to learn about new applications and technologies, but also new teaching approaches in terms of acquiring skills and conducting assessment in an online education.

In the last year, several training activities have been carried out, such as conferences, round tables and debates, in which students have been encouraged to work in mixed teams, to know how to make friends and to get acquainted with applications and online work.

The preparation of the activities took place over several weeks and followed modern aspects for online education, the students from the four institutions being divided into mixed groups, with daily tasks and responsibilities, which solve their work tasks, formulate reasoned conclusions, which they presents and support, being permanently monitored and guided by teachers from the 4 institutions. Besides the daily teaching activities, the students had additional tasks to promote the project activities by making daily online journals, daily presentation films, presentations of the project activities, but also of the culture and history of the 4 partners in the local press, YouTube channel, school magazines.
